Corporate Responsibility Steering Group monitors and guides the implementation of the CR Framework in business operations. Carl-Harald Andersson, senior executive in Tieto was appointed as the new chairman of the steering group in November 2008.

Chairman of the Corporate Responsibility Steering Group is responsible for the co-ordination and implementation of the general arrangements, development and follow-up of the Environmental Policy.

Group HR function headed by EVP is responsible for the co-ordination and implementation of the general arrangements, development and follow-up of the HR and health and safety policies. Immediate manager and local HR carry the responsibility for that Tieto as an employer is behaving in accordance to human rights, non-discrimination, equal opportunities and a safe and healthy working environment.

All managers are responsible for ensuring that the content and the spirit of the Code of Conduct and the policies are communicated, understood and acted upon within their organizations.
